One of Sojourn's core intents is to preserve a classic SS13 style interface. While quality of life and modernizations are always welcome, doing so at the expense of Old School features is something that will accrue scrutiny. Below are a list of features that, in some way or another, should be preserved or avoided.
Features
This section details an incomplete list of features that should not be removed.
- Classic Verb Interaction (Non-Hotkey Mode)
Restricted Features
Restrictions on features that may be added in the future.
- Classic-style interactions and verbs should not be removed when adding aliases to them.
Anti-Features
These features have been expressly rejected.
- Overhead Chat in Viewport (RuneChat)
- Non-Square Maximal Viewports
- Any ERP-Specific Features
- Mechanical ERP
- Vore
- "Anti-Ghost" features
Scrutinized Features
These features don't strictly go against these principles, but will likely lead to a request for justification.
- Viewport sizes other than 15x15.
