Far from being single-origin, these 'standard' frames encompass a wide variety of open source, unclaimed or otherwise "freely" available frames. These frames come from sources ranging to hobbyist collectives to long-since-deprecated trade claims abandoned to the public domain by their corporate owners.

Zeng-Hu

Zenhgu.png

Another truly old but no-less respected line from the Giant of Medical Miracles and Horrors both. Where some lines fixated on pure pragmatism Zeng-Hu spared no expense on the appearance of these bots. From Sleek humanoid frames to high-speed flying drones these bots were top of the shelf for decades before finally being displaced by Greyson's own. In the modern era, a flying drone or a cyborg that fits in a roughly human-shaped package are old news easily reproducible(and more modularly at that.), still; these designs are a reminder that even heights of technology once viewed as science-fiction may one day be looked back on as tragically quaint.

Bishop

Bishop.png

A positively venerable line, Bishop long stood as giants of the cybernetics and robotics field, shoulder to shoulder with the likes of Zeng-Hu and early Greyson Positronics. While their interest in the field of robotics waned during the halcyon days of Greyson Positronics these frames remains an utterly ubiquitous classic.

Xion

Xion.png

Not one cohesive line, but instead a small number of designs from little known manufacturing company 'Xion'. Once a pioneer in the field of automated recursive repair solutions, Xion has never once allowed the galaxy to forget that they designed the first ever repair drone - A claim supported by little more than a resemblance in their more modern designs. With a preference for such nimble, spidery bots their abject failure to dislodge Zeng-Hu from their position as the premier creators of automated flying machines should not go without saying - Though some will claim preference for 'Eyebot' style drones these bots were sadly an economic failure in their time.

Miss M.

Miss M.png

A by now relatively dated line by the long-since defunct 'Missus Machining', the Miss M. line of cyborgs was marketed both towards wealthy individuals with an eye for retro aesthetics and poorer corps without the ability to procure higher end 'Customer Friendly' units. It should not go unsaid that despite the companies attempts to put a friendly face on Cyborgs, they were ultimately forced to shutter permanently following a slew of accusations that the brains in their units were unethically sourced.

MekaNIKA Mekanoid

Mekanika.png

Affectionately known as 'TallBorgs', these units while wildly varying in both module and appearance have proven to be quite popular both for their utility and shockingly low price, owing to their pedigree as products of MekaNIKA(One of the few non-megacorp bulk producers of cyborg frames and, a corp with surprisingly 'customer-first' product policy.).

MekaNIKA K4T

K4T.png

Amid concerns that their 'Tallbot' Mekanoids "appeared too flimsy" come the K4T line. Where Tallbots are svelte and graceful, K4Tbots are notably broader in appearance - It bears noting that despite appearances, these walking tanks do not perform notably better or worse than their slimmer "siblings". Instead, theirs is a design meant to impress and awe far more than it is to serve as the walking-exosuit they nominally resemble. After all, a well programmed borg can already serve as more than a match for an equivalent human.

Iron Lords 'MekaNIKA'
