BYOND account and character name: Stiphs, Ezra Forty Five
Banning admin: Dasfox
Ban type/duration (where you are banned from and for how long): 2x jobstrikes for CBO.
(I hope that its ok to appeal these at the same time, as they were given at the same time. I was told by CBD on discord that this should help reduce the time for the CBO job ban. I could be wrong. Either way, I want to appeal these strikes.)
Ban reason: 1-- prioritzed another department (Research) over their own, (Medical) as Chief Biolab Overseer. This lead to them developing infection, and eventually succumbing to their wounds because they were 'too busy'. 2-- Released two troopers from medical after treating them while ignoring their internal injuries (almost completely destroyed nerves and blood vessels, along with three infections on one trooper) This resulted in forcing a Corpsman to do the work of a doctor in this case, which isn't acceptable for a CBO to be making happen.
Your side of the story:
The above is accurate, save that the reason I succumbed to my injuries was due to real life interference, at least partially. For the second strike, the only thing that is I would add is that I medicated them both for infection and destroyed nerves, but did not administer enough of either medicine, by a long shot.
Why you think you should be unbanned: Put simply I know better now. These kinds of mistakes are not something that would happen again, as I've learned from experience to avoid them. Peridaxon is a must and 15 units of spacecicilin is almost never enough. Ointment, soteria bandages, or burn packs are a must have to prevent infection as well.
