Qualifications: I am aware of the typical staff tools (game panel, build mode, etc) however I haven't used them in a while so some things are really rusty

Why are you applying to be a staff member?: I want to help contribute to the lore for the different factions (such as Blackshield) as well as more broader where needed. I have been a writer for a while so I understand and can appreciate the impact lore has, as well as the interpretation of lore. I have interpreted that joining staff would be the next step to be able to contribute to the server and achieve this goal of mine.

What are your principles regarding the job you apply for, and the players in the community you are volunteering to serve?: I'd understand that I'd be expected to accurately answer questions on the topics I am relevant in, as well as be able to cooperate with other staff and players seemlessly. Additionally, I'd be expected to understand how my work would impact other persons and persons' works, both negatively and positively, and be able to respect the creative integrity of the others.

I thiiiiink I've seen you a handful of times whilst I've played as Reddington but I'm going to be real, I don't know you well enough to form a decision just yet on this app. Will have to see what other staff have to say first before I come to a decision.

I don't particularly need people who are super-duper exceptionally active when it comes to members of staff. This is a thing we have that happens a lot, we all have IRL anyway. Generally when it comes to being a member of staff all we expect is not to be a major shitlord at the base level, sorta.

A couple of things. I dont mind you as a person, or as a player, but the idea of someone becoming dev staff of some kind before actually contributing anything seems like jumping the gun to me. Spriters and coders dont get the code/sprite staff without first contributing enough to the server to prove that not only are they consistent about it, but that they can work with the rest of development. Jumping straight to lore staff without actually writing any lore for the server just seems the wrong way around.

Secondly, this is in a weird position because a few headmins agreed that we shouldn't have any lore staff, so this is a bit of a miscommunication that will probably need to be addressed.

I'm ok with the idea of a lore tag, akin to the spriter tag, but it should work the same way as spriter, just to mark someone who's contributed significantly in that area rather than having authority over it.

Readjusting my vote after I actually read stuff and spoke with some others. -1. We don't need lore staff in the slightest bit. You don't need to be staff to contribute to the lore of the server. All you have to do is write it up, present it to staff specifically Dasfox or I guess me, and go from there. Not to mention, I'm not going to be accepting anyone for lore staff for a few reasons, one of them being that I haven't really seen much of writing from you or attempted lore changes. Granted, I don't glance into a good few channels of the discord.

So my main issue here is that I don't see much of a reason for this request. The tools given won't in any way improve your work when it comes to Lore writing. In this case I can't see a reason to accept this if the only purpose for this app is to gain access to tools that don't really server the purposes of Lore writing. The best thing I'd say you can do is just get in contact with Lore head. And work out something with them if you wish to help.

Application for staff: Denied based on lacking reason for role. In the future if we every slap together a proper "lore team" I can see a case of accepting something like this again. But at present there is no need.
