Relevant Experience:
I was previously staff here, Though I have staffed various SS13 servers, Lonestar as an admin most recently.

Reason for Application:
I quit due to irreconcilable differences with the previous headmin Kazkin. His rampant extremist views, Anti-Semitism, and over all hateful speech and edgyboy attitude sapped the joy of being here. With his recent removal I'd like to return as the server is better with him gone, or at the very least powerless.

Antagonist-stuff:
I handled quite afew events in my time here on the server, never any of the major story things, though I did assist in setting them up and acted as a Bad Guy in them on occasions. While most of my events were combat/PVE related. I did host some PVP events in the form of people controlling mobs, also some long form investigations that were not combat related but handled IC.

None of these events, or my participation in them was ever received poorly and was held in high regard if I remember correctly. From a technical aspect I am intimately knowledgeable with antag mechanics here on the server, baring some of the more broken systems like Carrion.

Gonna be blunt, I have no idea who you are. I've heard about you from other staff members but I try not to form my opinions based on second hand information. But I do think it's important for a staff member to be active on the discord and the community, which you have not been, otherwise I'd be able to give an opinion outside of "I have no idea who you are."

I'm on the fence with this, as recently we've had lots of players and ex staff wishing to return to the server now that Possum is gone. Though like mentioned already, unfortunately old people out and new people in and the new community don't know you.

I think you're definitely suitable for the role as Moderator as you know we don't allow position hopping to admin. However, I think you need to get a little more involved and active before coming staff again.

I don't think the argument of 'old people out and new people in' works in context to a member of staff. You don't need to be a massively outgoing member of the community or even well known to get onto staff. And at the end of the day I know Localized, and they did a decent enough job and they had no issues starting as a moderator when I pm'd them about it. +1

Sorry, I barely know you, but, you've been back for about a week and are already immediately asking for your administrator position back.
I know, even if approved, it would be as moderator, but, the want to jump right back to where you were after jumping ship silently, throws up a lot of red flags to me personally

My opinion more than likely would change if you had waited for a month or two, and been active during said month. A sudden disappearance followed by an immediate app on return rubs me the wrong way

I have come in to speak in voice and the like but I don't often jump into big crowded voice channels cause it's just 'noise' most of the time and typing and talking can be abit of a trouble sometimes.

That said I do engage somewhat when I have opinions on things, or in smaller groups so it's not 10 people all talking over eachother.

Considering my departure was due to a very rampant and unapologetic racist having complete dominion over the staff team I do think my leaving, on rather good terms at that, was fine. I didn't want to associate with a server that held those sorts of views, even if it WAS one person, but considering that one person got the entire staff team discord banned once already, and his attitude having shown no signs of change it was a natural thing to do.

I would like to think my good track record speaks for itself on these things, and I have no issue being a Moderator and getting back to things the normal way. The point of this wasn't to get my old position back.

So i'll be quite forward with this. I REALLY don't enjoy when staff just jump ship out of nowhere, and don't say a single fucking thing. I hate even more when they come back asking for all their shit back with barely any contact afterwards crawling back with open arms.

I've been mulling this over the past week and I don't see in any way why I would ever take you back on staff personally. That being said, the others seem to think your skills out weigh that one slip up you made.

No you will not be made an admin

but

I will Allow you to join back as a moderator under the stipulation that you will have a 6 month grace period before any consideration comes towards getting back your role as an admin on Sojourn if I see more community involvement from you in the next two months.
