Qualifications: To be honest, when it comes to SS13 staff tools, I have basically zero experience. However, I am willing to learn how to effectively use them.

Why do you wish to be a staff member?:
I have applied for the Event Operator role because in my opinion, events are what brings out the best in the Sojourn community and I want to help bring more fun and memorable moments to the community. I can understand any apprehension about me potentially becoming one given how little experience I have, but given the nature of this role, with me being under supervision of other admins, I believe that the potential risks are greatly reduced. The supervision I would be subjected to would also allow me to grow my skills much faster than if I went into this blind without help.

What are your principles regarding the job you apply for, and the players in the community you are volunteering to serve?:
When it comes to managing events, I should obviously not favor one group over another and I should give each person a chance to participate if they fit the criteria to do so. I should also, follow the guidance of the much more experienced staff who will be able to teach me how to do my job and what not to do. And, of course, the events I come up with shouldn't be a chore to deal with, but they should be fun, engaging, and challenging.

Something that I hope to address as an event operator is giving the departments outside of Shield, Prospectors, Church, and Marshals to have some fun during events, I don't mean to offend anybody running the events, but in many events, I've seen the majority of players wait around at the colony while the combat oriented departments go out and have a fun adventure for hours and then come back and tell everyone what a great time they had. For example, I could give Soteria a chance to be at the forefront of an event by causing some sort of dangerous disease outbreak, or I could cause a cave in within the mines that Lonestar would have to dig their way out of.

Heyo, solid application, good known characters, and even a comment by the catto, no reason to deny this one. As for your lack of experience, everyone has to start somewhere,

I also started with next to NO experience using the staff tools of SS13, so if you need any help with that, I'll be glad to assist and supervise events and offer guidance on how to turn an idea into a reality through those tools. Likewise, I'm sure other staff will be able to help around as needed.
