Strike reason: afk longer than 15m?

Your side of the story: The pop was low, the shift was going well, it was past half the shift afaik (science probably mostly done), I had to go to a meeting and thus had to close down for what should have been a simple case of a normal 5m morning meeting turned into a long meeting with a surprise visit from higher management. I was told after the fact that there was a blob threat. As at least the BS CO assumedly trying to get me to help, there was already sufficient security present to deal with a blob (even if it was just the BS CO). In IC this already strained my relations and credit far beyond what the job strike can do as I have talked with players and staff alike.

Why you think you the strike should be removed: To better maintain communication with staff on my AFK times and shall employ ahelps to indicate if I am unavailable for longer than 15m to just cryo me. I thought that'd be a frivolous ahelp and was informed I should be doing that instead of avoiding it. I generally play through an entire session without going SSD. There should have been more than sufficient resources to deal with a blob and a CRO (IMO) should not be expected to be employed in a combat role despite commonly doing securitys' (marshals', blackshields') job in that specific regard.

Your job strike in my view should be lifted as it was reasonable for you to not know/think that the meeting would take longer then normal.

After getting some feedback about this I am going to be removing the job strike from your account. It appears to be a first time thing based on what the note says and you appear to have a reason to not suspect you would be gone for longer than allowed. In the future please alert staff if you think that you may be some time when stepping away.
