Relevant Administration Experience (if applicable): I've been a moderator on sojourn for four months now, handling applications, the discord and handling ahelps and other issues IC. Of course I used to be a mentor and moderator on colonial marines back in the day but I would find that far less relevant to my time here on sojourn.

Qualifications: I'm very familiar with the core tools such as managing ahelps, admin pms viewing veriables and generally aghosting and keeping an eye on things in the server. I would say that during my time moderating for sojourn, I've handled all my cases with a generally small margin of error, especially due to how active I would like to say I've been. Along with that, I generally keep in contact with the liason and keep my ear to what's going on in the community as a whole.

Why do you wish to be a staff member?: My main reason for wanting to become admin is a mix of both my investment in the community and the desire to be able to handle cases which admins can only. Answering faxes, having access to tools like bluespace technicians and the like. During my time on sojourn there have been countless cases where I've had an ahelps which have both been time sensitive and required the actions of admins who quite frankly and to no offence to them, have not been sufficiently active, especially during european timezones which I occcupy.

What are your principles regarding the job you apply for, and the players in the community you are volunteering to serve?: As same as ever. At the core of moderation, it should be about making sure people enjoy their time on the server. This includes curbing attitudes that can both stop people from having fun while on the server or even go as far as to push away other players while also attempting to retain a standard of HRP which our community thrives on.

When it comes to dealing with problem players or people who have made mistakes, I find it the most important thing to make sure they know what they've done wrong and why more than it is punishing them, with punishments like bans and strikes being reserved for repeat offenders or those who show no real regret or understanding of the flaws in their actions.

Hello hello. Giving my two cents on this, but I will not be the one making a final determination on my own, so on so on.

I've yelled at K5 to take a look at this, however I have some concerns with it that I would like to talk about here. Though not exactly problems with you, they're concerns I have as you don't have direct experience with the field;

This being properly able to respond as each individual faction with their respective favoritism or ability to lack favoritism, with faxes and investigations. As this is also the duty of an Administrator, as you said in your application, I'd like you to give your two cents to me on what exactly this means later -- as I intend to make this much more uniform and reliable.

And by statement I would state your approach is light-handed to when you dish out strikes or other punishments -- though people frequently say mine's pretty heavy-handed. So maybe that's just a difference of perspective; But you've had the ability to do both of these things as a moderator. Strikes, punishments, bans (even if they'd need to be applied by an administrator due to how permissions are set). So I hope there's understanding that these are intended to be given as methods of warning as well, even if someone understands the mistake -- it is a method of making sure it sticks and isn't repeated as we lack many others.

But beyond this, I'd endorse this promotion. As neither of these are directly related to how you behave on server outside of making sure you should know how to do both of the things you specifically stated you'd like to more aptly focus on during your time in Euro-hours.

Dear Kavrick:
The rule about not allowing people to jump back up and become admin without normally going back to mod well enforced was never wrote down to my knowing's on any official document, channel or the wiki thus when considering your coming back as admin the only thing that has matter to it is merit. Merit that you have stands rather well only few issues in the past or other heart felt commits are of notable issue and they are rather distant and far apart from one a other. The care you have as far as I'm lead to believe and dedication to the server far outshine any negative qualities that have happened from when as a player. I am hopeful that with the additional ranking the same trend of self improvement continues thus hope you well as an Admin if you are to gain the rank with my +1.
