Relevant Administration Experience (if applicable): /tg/, Eros(old Virgo offshoot run by werebear), and now here for about 5 months!

Qualifications: Lotta history with the server by now, been back for a good year or two, played extensively on HRP servers(including admin'ing one!)

Why do you wish to be a staff member?: Partly, because i've been around a while and think i'm getting decent hang of how things work. Mostly, because I'd like to take a more active role. Initially i joined staff because I liked how hands-off things seemed to be while still 'soft' enforcing via IC punishments, faxes, etc but it feels like that has begun to sorta...trail off? Fewer staff are available with the increase of players to sit there and do IC investigations, to handle things though 'soft' intervention and something i hear more and more is "I send faxes, i do investigations, people misbehave - and nothing changes."

What are your principles regarding the job you apply for, and the players in the community you are volunteering to serve?: hands-off hands-on. There's a lotta importance placed on the care with which admin intervention should be occur if at all - keeping things in character, handling through the available channels. A lot of time and effort has gone into creating the feeling of a setting that feels more 'alive' than a lot of ss13 servers, and it's important that staff take this into consideration when sticking their hands into things. On the other end of things, the importance to not let things fall to the wayside - knowing when to become involved, when to put ones foot down and make a ruling that extends past the pure IC for the sake of the community as a whole.
