Why do you wish to be a staff member?: To provide more for a community I've grown to like quite a bit. I'd like to give back a bit and help the staff out.

What are your principles regarding the job you apply for, and the players in the community you are volunteering to serve?: My basic core principle is that at the end of the day, the game is just that; A game. We're here to have fun and enjoy ourselves and not to get upset at each other over trivial things. And sometimes, a staff member does have to step in and help defuse a situation before it escalates too far.

That being said, the best example I can give for this is that I think of the staff team much like the Marshals in game. Much like the Marshals, the staff observe the rules and serve the community to guide players to remain within' the structured rules; however, the staff are not above these rules. This matches how we expect the Marshals to behave, to be guides and protectors of a community and observe the laws and enforce them while not being above those said laws.
