Relevant Administration Experience (if applicable): I was a moderator for CM for about half a year around 5 years ago.

Qualifications:
It's been a while but I know about admin pms, aghosting, notes and all that, I'm also familiar with some other stuff like spawning in items, bluespace techs and all that from testing sprites. For a note, during my time as a moderator on CM, I hadn't received a single complaint and I resigned after becoming burnt out on SS13 at the time

Why do you wish to be a staff member?:
Mostly because I find myself invested in the community, I've gained a lot of enjoyment, entertainment and have made some great friends here on sojourn, so wanting to give back just feels right, that's also the main reason I started spriting.
I have plenty of free time and would like to help out where I can. I also know that staff are rarely active during the european hours, where I'm usually on.

What are your principles regarding the job you apply for, and the players in the community you are volunteering to serve?:
My attitude towards moderation is that you should always be looking to help the players that you're moderating, rather than be looking to punish them. Talking to players, finding out why they did what they did and correcting that is far more important to me than handing out punishments (although I do know on sojourn mods are limited in this way anyway). Uplifting the quality of the rp and preventing people from taking away enjoyment from others through underhanded or bad-faith means, would be the main goal of moderation in my opinion. I should also add that one of the most important things as moderator is to avoid any bias in your work, either from IC interactions or OOC ones, ideally avoiding any situation handling someone who you may have said biases against.

From your time on the server I'd say that you care a lot about the community and about the standards we(try to) hold. Only thing i can say is that you can get a bit heated at times, but so can the best of us, myself included. Think you'd be a great addition to the staff, so long as you were careful to not burn yourself out.

Boy oh boy! We need more interns after all, specially lil goats- Anyways, as based and biased as my opinion obviously goes, this one's a yes. Yea, they do get a little emotional but then again, so does everyone else on the staff team. Important thing is keeping your actions in line despite your emotions, and keeping a open mind about things.

Edit: I can't say anything that the other two have already said. Honestly all staff gets emotional, especially in our meetings but we're able to put shit aside to focus on our job.
