"mostly because i was hoping K5 was going to listen to my previous suggestion to him after we decided what to really do with you (he didn't but still greenlit the action), that being considering you being part of the problem that caused one of our major coders to be lost (a large part of it) it was mostly in the air if you were even going to be let back in period. after talking a bit we had decided a minimum of a 6 month ban until you can try to get back in was fair, so lets say january 30th is the earliest you can reapply i suppose? i'll be leaving this here for the next hourish before actually moving on said ban so you have time to read this and whatnot"
Hi. I'm just writing this up real quick while suffering from constipation, so I apologize if anything seems overtly kind've shitty.
As some of you may know, I'm a long-term member of the community. I've been here for roughly 3-4 years, and have had very few confrontations with staff-members on actual rule violations, mostly idling on the discord after awhile once I stopped enjoying the content of the server. Of course, that's not including that a previous admin banned me for a year for saying that I looked forwards to playing my formerly PK'd character after several staff members said that they were moving to get the PK overturned; alleging that I was lying to them entirely baselessly. This ban took over a year to be removed, and only was removed once Dongels was no longer a member of the staff team; the replacement immediately overturning it once they heard the details and saw the chat-logs.
Far more recently, I was kicked from the server for disputing SIeghardt's ban, something I did because no one could give me a clearly stated reason for what he did to actually warrant a ban besides 'being racist' - which I drew from my own personal experiences and knowledge of the man to repeatedly contest given my characterizations of him; given that I'm Jewish and he actively enjoyed talking with me but is apparently an anti-semite, that he's married to a black woman and actively trying for mixed raced kids... but is apparently a huge racist that thinks Africans are subhuman. He had always been a flanderized person who would make what some would consider distasteful / edgy jokes about Global Jewish and Gay Organizations secretly undermining the west -- which was a joke he stole from Family Guy, and other corners of the internet. He was reported as actively posting misinformation graphs, apparently - but that was something I'd never seen or even heard about until well over a day into the argument - after I had been repeatedly called a nazi-sympathizer, fascist fanboy, and other very lame insults that violated TOS and drew me to engage with a bit more hostility. Once I was told more explicit details of the character of the things he'd repost beyond /pol/-esque extremist memes of liberals being liberals - content beyond simple memes, I ceased arguing in favor of the man and extended Moon an apology personally, looking more into it.
Of course, I was kicked before I could and told to rewhitelist if I felt like being a member of the community instead of a 'shitposter'. Very professional! So I did, and was informed that me being kicked was actually theater, I presume to avoid further people getting upset at unfair staff policy, since I saw several people kicked (softbanned) and muted.
More-over, everything I said and did in his defense prior to me being made aware of this, was allowed explicitly by the rules on the #rules page of the discord. I checked, repeatedly to make sure my content would avoid being anything that violated them, while simultaneously pointing out that members of the staff who stated that it was because of TOS violations and protecting the Discord Server were in violation of TOS themselves, due to their use of language that was extreme. I.E., "Faggot, retard, dipshit, chud", calling people fascists and stating Israel (or Palestine) was a terrorist / Illegitimate state, white men bad, "You're not really Jewish because you don't practice the faith", etc. etc.
Of course, naturally, other people felt their own ways about it. Much like how I repeatedly stated that Sieghardt was not a racist based on my interactions with him on a personal level prior to his actual actions being told to me after the back and forth about "He's racist" "He's not" "he's racist" "he's not" for well over half a day (staff deemed this content and arguing allowed) others joined in saying their piece, and acting on their own to do various things - some joining in prior to my ceasement of posts, some joining in after I stopped posting, and others on the coding team leaving. That was not and was never my intention to have happened, and is something I never invited anyone to do. I merely repeated my own viewpoints that Sieghardt could not be those things, and wanted to see / hear what he actually posted to get banned content wise. (I never did see the content he posted and still haven't.)
Half a year ban solely because of someone else's actions (specifically, the coder leaving. Apparently everything else was kosher.) after what they found Staff behaving in a reprehensible manner is simply wrong. Even the notorious former headmin fascist wouldn't stoop so low. You are actually acting worse than Kazkin. Holy shit.
